Chinatown Street Food Night Tour with a Local

I really enjoyed my Chinatown Street Food tour with Taro and his colleague Emma, who tagged along as well. Taro was very helpful and was accommodating and flexible with the schedule. We walked around a stretch of Yaowarat Road and tried 5 foods in total. What I enjoyed the most, however, was the pit stop just before Chinatown, where we had several dishes from a literal side street food vendor. I don't think any foreigner would try this type of setting on their own without an actual local with them. It's good to have a local with you to help with the language barrier as you can customize some of the dishes. It helps a lot, especially to a foreigner like me who doesn't unsderstand the language. I recommend this for sure! Thanks Taro and Emma!

MUST DO!!
This was our first night in Bangkok and we were glad we did it! Taro provided a great perspective on the life and culture in Bangkok while showing us a great variety of the food in Chinatown. If we didn’t like something it was completely okay—and we made sure to try it all! This was much better than doing a tour through a company as you can get a local, with great conversation and it can be tailored for how you are feeling/what you like to eat. I would recommend this to friends coming to visit:)

With Taro, no dull moment
My Wife and I suppose to wait for Taro pick up at our hotel. But due to the heavy traffic I suggested to meet at Siam Paragon. He is punctual and greeted us with an cheerful smile. We aboard the BTS and started our journey. We came to an agreement that whichever transport that can reaches the destination first. We will take it. The traffic jam is is crazy.
All in all, the food variety is delicious. He ate until our tummy cannot take it anymore.
Taro is a very caring man and also patience. He knew that my wife got problems with her knee. He arranges another colleague Benz to assist us. She is also another angel.
No doubt I will continue to recommend friends to him. Thank you so much.
