Fun tasty trip!

We had a fantastic experience with the Take Me Tour trip to the Khlong Lat Mayom floating market, and would absolutely recommend it - especially if you’re lucky enough to get the same tour guide as we did!

The tour itself is great - roughly an hour’s trip out of town but it’s all sorted for you, and is actually quite informative itself as you go. The market’s fantastic - with an enormous range of food and drink to choose from, ranging from Thai street food to freshly squeezed juice. After getting a good look around the market and having some food (and a breather from the heat!) you then take the boat for the actual floating tour, which is a decent-length trip around the canals and rivers in the unspoiled rural area, with a couple stops along the way. It’s beautiful.

A special shout out though to our guide, Usa, who was absolutely superb and made the tour what it was. She was funny, spoke impeccable English (she actually helped teach us some Thai, as we were struggling to pick it up…) and generally enthusiastic and knowledgeable, adding lots of little personal touches throughout the day. Couldn’t recommend Usa and the tour enough.
