Hi. We're The Tuk Tuk Club. Based in Chiang Mai and running adventures through Northern Thailand we love nothing more than helping travellers get off the beaten track and to experience the 'real' Thailand. Travelling by Tuk Tuk through the mountains accompanied by brilliant guides and drivers you can get to experience real rural life, meet and learn about elephants, hike through the forest to waterfalls and even float gently downstream on bamboo rafts!

One Day Tuk Tuk Adventure in Rural Chiang Mai

This trip was perfect - they were early to our hotel, waiting in the lobby. They took us to the TukTuk in an air conditioned van and we had a coffee with our guide before venturing off to the countryside. The guide answered all of our questions and knew a lot of history of the plants, animals and people of the region. For lunch, egg fried rice with chicken and vegetables. Very good. They also provide fresh cold water in provided water bottles.
Petting and feeding the elephants was awesome and the river raft ride was more exciting than expected ! They do a great job of making the day special. Speak up if you want something, we saw mangoes being picked on the side of the road and he swung over and we picked some and he prepared them in the traditional fashion !
