Meet up at Sanam Chai MRT Station Exit 1
Let's begin our tour of Bangkok's iconic temples! First, we'll go to Wat Pho or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha together. Besides the gigantic works of art like the Reclining Buddha and the pagodas, Wat Pho is Thailand's oldest temple and the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, believe it or not! Let's check out the hermit statues around Wat Pho to see some Thai Massage techniques as well!
Next, we'll visit the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Here, we can admire the beauty of the intricate fine arts both on the inside and the outside. I'll also let you check out the Thai-style architecture of the residence of former Thai kings, as well as paying respect to the Emerald Buddha as well.
After that, we'll take a ferry to cross the river and make our last stop at Wat Arun, or simply the "Temple of Dawn". This is the temple that you may have seen on many Thailand postcards!
Let's walk up Wat Arun's iconic prang (Khmer-style tower) and see the elaborate porcelain and seashells decorations from up close.
