Chiang Rai has a lot to offer, be it culture, nature, or food. If you don't have much time but want to experience them all in one day, I've created this travel route for you. We'll visit the White Temple, an all-white temple that symbolizes Buddhist heaven. Then we'll relax in nature at Singha Park and see the beautiful terraced tea plantations. For lunch, I'll bring you to one of Chiang Rai locals' favorite restaurants and let's also sip coffee at my favorite place. After lunch, we'll go to the Golden Triangle and enjoy the views of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos at once. This is a private Chiang Rai tour from Chiang Mai, so I've got the transportation covered. Before returning to Chiang Mai, we'll also enjoy a dinner together.

Take a break at a hot spring. Let's have local breakfast here and you can also take a dip.
Arrive at White Temple.
Locally known as Wat Rong Khun, White Temple is a heavenly temple designed by our National Artist, Chalermchai Kositpipat. He's a Chiang Rai native and White Temple is considered his most prominent Buddhist art.
Then we'll take a rest at Singha Park. Enjoy the colorful flowers and terraced tea plantations.
Have our local lunch at Larb Sanam Keela.
Larb Moo Kua (Roasted Minced Pork Spicy Salad) is a beloved dish for us Northerners. Since you're here in Chiang Rai, let's eat Larb where the locals do. We'll also try other Northern Thai food.
After lunch, I'll take you to my favorite coffee shop, Bechegu Coffee. But if you want a coffee break before lunch, we can go to Larb Sanam Keela after Bechegu Coffee too.
Arrive at Golden Triangle. Let's walk up to the outlook for the view of the Mekong River and Ruak River. This is also where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet, forming a physical triangle.
Time to go back to Chiang Mai. We'll enjoy local dinner together on the way back.

Full day adventure
Kanda and her friend joined us and we had a blast. She provides breakfast and lunch along with coffee and snacks. Never did she rush us and never did we feel unsatisfied. She also took photos of us and knew a lot about each place. The overall trip is worth every penny from sunrise to the falls.
