Taking public transportation to Wat Kalayanamit Varamahavihara Pier. From there, board an electric boat and let the peaceful current carry you along Thonburi’s calm and shaded canals.
Along the way, get a stunning view of the Great Buddha at Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen from the middle of the water this beautiful sight is a highlight not to be missed. We will then enter the lush Khlong Bang Khun Thian before stopping at Wat Ratcha-orasaram Ratchaworawihan, a royal temple featuring a unique and beautiful blend of Chinese and Thai architecture.
Visit a traditional soy sauce factory, where age-old recipes and methods have been carefully passed down through generations. Learn how authentic flavors are crafted and preserved, offering a glimpse into Thailand’s enduring culinary heritage.
Then, enjoy a delightful lunch in a relaxed atmosphere at a riverside restaurant.
In the afternoon, our journey continues to Wat Sai and a historic souvenir shop that has been a community landmark since 1957, reflecting the timeless charm of this area. The day concludes with a stroll through the Klong Bang Luang community, a small canalside village filled with old traditional Thai houses and a vibrant artistic atmosphere.
Then the tour will end and you will return to your hotel, filled with the warm memories of having discovered another side of Bangkok by public transport
