Worst guide ever

General comment on your tour agency: We waited for confirmation for 6 hours after making the payment. Then I facebooked them to find out what the deal was and they finally responded. Cool, we arranged the Lat mayom floating market tour the next morning at 8:30am.

Our tour guide (the last person on earth to call a tour guide) was Jino. Jino

postponed the tour to 9:30am and then she pushed it back to 30 more min when we already got the station we were supposed to meet. And then, she was late for another 30 more minutes. We called her to see what the problem was and finally at 10:35 she showed up with an attitude. She said her car was broken.

She did not apologize for being an hour late or rather said anything to make it up to us. She was like a grumpy grandma so very unhappy wandering around her naughty grandchildren. I did not see her smiling at all.

We complained about her being late during the the drive to the market and she acted like it was normal, not even a reaction. We got to the market and walked to the local boat queue. We thought it was going to be a private boat tour but we got on the boat with 4 other people, and Jino did not come on the boat. We asked the boat guy how much it costs per person, it is only 20 baht!! I have taken other tours where the boat was motorized and private, with the tour guide on board.

Again my personal comment is that Jino is the last person on earth to be a tour guide! She did not even get on the boat to tell us about around. We ended up not seeing the market stopa on the boat tour, only some people’s houses.

She did not spend time with us at all, she was like a babysitter who hates her job.

When we were eating she kept coming and asking whether we were finished. We felt like we have to rush to make her happy.

I can write an essay about this horrible tour but I don’t want to take anybody’s time which I believe is valuable...

I recommend Jino to go to a proper tour to comprehend what a tour is before she calls herself a local expert :)

I recommend to others wanting to see Lat Mayom to take a taxi to get to the market (in our case 150 baht each way) and save at least a thousand baht to spend on the market! Do not waste your money on takemetour.com and especially not on Jino!

I was excited this tour.

She took me to Ayutthaya ruins and some old temples. It was really beautiful.

And she is very friendly and fun.
