Bua Tong Waterfall or, as the locals call it, 'Sticky Waterfall'

Beautiful day outing

We had such a wonderful experience. The waterfalls are spectacular, set in a beautiful forest. It's a very short walk from the car park area to the falls, and they are really quite easy to climb, ropes are available to hold onto for the slippery bits (which are very few), and PD knew which routes up the falls were easier and less slippery.
PD climbed up with us the first time and took amazing photos and helped us up. She then let us have as long as we wanted to go back again and just enjoy the beauty and peace of the falls and the forest.
This was followed by a delicious vegetarian (at our request) Thai Lunch under the trees brought by PD, and then it was on to a temple in a nearby cave and then back to the city.
PD was so accommodating for all our requests, we stopped at a coffee shop for some great Thai coffee on the way back, and she also kindly stopped at the bus terminal So we could buy our return ticket to Bangkok.
The whole day was lovely, and I would highly recommend this tour and PD.

Awesome Nature Trip

We had an awesome day at Sticky Falls. PD is a wonderful guide and lovely person. She will take you to the spring, up the falls and the Bua Tong cave if you want.

The waterfall is a must-do even if you have only a few days in Chiang Mai. It was one of the highlights and a lovely way to spend the morning. With this tour, there is more than enough time to spend at the falls as well as time left afterwards to do something else.

The ride was comfortable and the Pad Thai for lunch very good. Definitely worth it!

Authentic incredible experience

Perfect from start to finish. So special being guided by a super nice, friendly local who is genuinely interested in creating and joining in on a fun and special experience. Simple to organize and something different from the average tourist experience. Even took us to a hidden temple that was the best we've seen so far on our trip, breath taking.

Highly recommend

PD was such a wonderful guide. If we had gone to the Sticky Waterfall ourselves we wouldn't have seen as much as PD brought us to some great private spots. Go see the Cave Temple up the big stairway if you can too.

Hassle-free trip

Thanks PD for making everything really easy. As a solo traveller I couldn't find much information on how to get to Sticky Falls easily and cheap. Got to enjoy the falls without too many tourists and it was an easy day trip with lots of time in the day to do other things. The car ride is nice and comfortable as well! Thanks again!

best Thailand experience

Phiangduan was awesome guide, it was one of the highlights of my trip. So refreshing to do deal with honest, kind, knowledgeable local guide in Thailand, Only wished i had discovered here at the beginning of my trip. She picked me up on time at my hotel, even brought me me of best Pad Thai I had ! She took amazing pictures, she could really be photographer in another lifetime. I really glad I went to sticky falls, I can't think of another opportunity to climb waterfall. Save your self hassle and just book with her she knew the area and I can totally imagine getting lost without her. She truly focused on you have a great time unlike other unscrupulous tour groups, which only care about booking a bunch of people and taking you to shopping spots for commission. She also was so knowledgeable about the local coffee culture, even took me to local market to pick up a local favorite brand.

Fun, Unique Adventure

We decided on a whim to visit the Buatong Waterfall and we are so happy we did. PD served as an excellent guide and was very friendly. Her insights, tips, and conversation made the trip just right. PD even offered to take photos while we climbed the waterfall and provided a delicious lunch for us from her uncle's restaurant. If we return to the Chaing Mai area any time soon, we will definitely make sure to get another tour from PD!

Amazing, incredible, best waterfall!

Had such an amazing day with PD as our tour guide. She was so lovely to both me and my sister, spoke very good English and was more than happy to wait for us while we explored the waterfall ourselves! She also stopped off at a cave that we were interested to see on the way home. Absolutely amazing place and so happy that PD offered this tour. Definitely a must do if in Chiang Mai!

Great half-day trip!

We really wanted to go to bua tong waterfalls from Chiangmai but it was difficult to find a tour option. We were very happy to have discovered takemetour and meet PD. It was the perfect half-day trip. She was very nice, picked us up from the hotel promptly and take us to the waterfalls where she held our shoes and helped us climb up. She even took us to the cave nearby and let us climb to the top. She also provided a very nice picnic lunch with local food. We highly recommend this trip!
