Escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to the historic city of Kanchanaburi. Throughout this Kanchanaburi tour, you'll trace WWII at the Bridge over the River Kwai and JEATH War Museum before boarding the Death Railway to Tham Krasae Cave.

Visit the JEATH War Museum.
An old WWII museum since 1977. You'll find wartime relics such as photos, weapons and tools used by Allied prisoners of war (POWs).
Take a train ride along the Death Railway (the Thailand-Burma Railway) in Kanchanaburi.
Built during WWII in 1943 by POWs, the whole railway was 415 km long, starting from Baan Pong (Nakhon Pathom) to Thanbyuzayat in Myanmar.
See and cross the historic Bridge over the River Kwai, which is part of the Death Railway in WWII. You can capture some impressive photos there.
Grab local lunch.
Next, board the train to Tham Krasae Cave. Walk on the actual railway and go inside the cave to see the Buddha statue.
Also, the view on the way to Tham Krasae Cave is really amazing.
Head back to Bangkok.
