Personalised, authentic, and informative!

Arnon was an excellent guide! He was so friendly, helpful, and passionate about his culture. At the time of booking, I asked him whether we could visit some extra sites in Kanchanaburi (Tiger Cave Temple, Dragon Temple) and he was happy to make time for them (he offered to pick us up 30min earlier). His car was extremely clean and we had a great chat on the way there. Arnon gave us an authentic experience, buying us delicious street food, teaching us the history of the Thai Kingdom, and answering any questions we had. In total we visited the Tiger Cave Temple, Dragon Temple, Thai coffee shop, JEATH War Museum, Bridge Over River Kwai, Death Railway journey, Elephant Sanctuary, and a local eatery for lunch - such an exciting and jam-packed day! The only thing I would change is to spend more time with the elephants. Understandably, we only had time to be with the elephants for around 30mins in the afternoon (bathing and feeding them). Next time, I hope to spend a whole day with them.

Interesting, enjoyable tour

The highlight of this tour is feeding and bathing the elephants. They are such majestic animals. We found the Death Museum to be very interesting since neither my husband nor I were born until after the war ended. There were many details that we learned about the suffering of the POWs forced to build the railway and the museum told the story in a way that made it very real. The raiway ride was also a good way to see some of the countryside with glimpses of how some Thai people live. We enjoyed this tour very much.
