What a great day!

Mai was a great guide for the day! Constantly making sure that I was ok and didn’t need anything. Her knowledge was great and was just a very friendly person.

If you get the chance to taste some of her cooking, you will not regret it, her food is amazing!

I have definitely found a friend in Mai and will definitely tour with her again when I’m back In Thailand!

History Packed Tour

My Guide was Chain, and he arrived promptly at pick up point and spent the entire day driving around from historical places of interests.. He was a very accommodating guide, gave some useful insight on the majority of the tour and was also incredibly helpful when it came to any problems I may have..

The Dinner stop was one of joy as a local family

Prepared food of exquisite taste and flavours in idyllic settings..

Each stop was brief but enough as the day was long and tiring..

it was a small shame that the death train journey didn’t happen due to holidays, but walking the tracks and the scenery made up for this..

The hell pass museum was wonderful and innovative, and you need a little fitness to cope with the hills and steps..

But all in all and very worthwhile trip!

Kanchanaburi: Death Railway, River Kwai Bridge & WWII Museum

★★★★★★★★★★

Interesting. Knowledgeable guide.

Took Kanchanaburi tour of Death Railway, River Kwai bridge & WWll Museum from Bangkok today.

Vipatpong was a great guide, with a really good knowledge of history and good English. It was a long day but he was easy to talk to, was very informative and did not rush through any part of the tour.
