Our trip focuses on elephant care activities, including feeding, bathing, mud spa, learning about elephants, making herbal medicine, and walking with the elephants. You’ll also enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant care and their daily lives, followed by a refreshing visit to a beautiful waterfall.

Arrive at Mae Wang Waterfall and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Take time to relax and enjoy the refreshing waterfall.
Drive to the Elephant Sanctuary and change into traditional Karen hill tribe clothing. Enjoy an introduction to elephant anatomy, history, and behavior, followed by a delicious local lunch.
Learn the basics of being a mahout, including elephant communication and safe handling techniques. Enjoy hands-on activities such as feeding, bathing, and giving the elephants a mud spa, with plenty of opportunities to take photos with them. No elephant riding.
Change clothes, freshen up with a shower, and prepare to leave the Elephant Sanctuary.

Your guide will accompany you to the elephant sanctuary and introduce you to the camp’s elephant care philosophy. You’ll learn about the sanctuary’s approach to caring for elephants, with no heavy chains, hooks, sticks, or other tools used to hurt or abuse them.
