Though we don’t have our own Disney Parks and Universal Studios, theme parks and water parks in Thailand are pretty unique. They are also huuuuuge and impossible things become possible there. Want to build a snowman in Thailand? Yes, you can. Want to meet your favorite Cartoon Network characters? The world’s first Cartoon Network themed water park is just a few hours from Bangkok. It’s like a dream come true.
Some of the best theme parks and water parks in Thailand are in Bangkok. If not, they are within driving distance and make for a great day trip from the capital city. Each park is packed with fun for people of all ages, so be sure to check them out.
P.S. Every single park offers a cool escape from Thailand’s infamous heat, not just the water parks.
The prehistoric kings have returned, but this time they have chosen Bangkok as their new home. Situated near Phrom Phong BTS Station, Dinosaur Planet is right at the heart of Bangkok. It’s an entertaining and enriching theme park with a lot of interactive activities. Everyone in your family can watch dinosaur eggs hatching, get photo opportunities with over 200 realistic dinosaur models and see Bangkok from above on the ferris wheel Dino Eye. Adrenaline junkies will love all the exciting rides, which include the 4D and 7D simulators.
The sheer size of the amusement park and the water park combined equals 120 acres of fun and adventures. From the retro castle and the double decker carousel to the high-octane suspended roller coaster Vortex, you’ll find over 30 thrill rides and family attractions.
