This 7th ruler of Chiang Mai and Lanna was one of the conservationists who attempted to preserve the forest area of the north. If you are looking for more trails of Doi Inthanon’s recent history, take a visit to the Royal Chedis of Doi Inthanon Park. Here, you will come across the twin chedis, built for the celebration of King Rama IV and Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday. Take a walk among the charming decoration of colorful flowers, and cross the lovely bridge across the pond.

Yes, coming to one of the coolest spots in Northern Thailand, you would not want to come back with no cool pics! At Wachirathan Waterfall, walk up the side trails and get your snaps with stunning backdrop. If you have some time whilst trekking along Pha Dok Siew trail, visit the hilly rice terrace farm and strawberry field at Ban Mae Klang Luang Village. If you need some drinks to freshen you up before hiking the peak, here, you can try the homemade arabica coffee, all made by the villagers!
