I’ll tell you about Lai Rod Nam, a Thai ancient lacquer gilding technique and a new technique, an easy way to create art and you can taste local snacks and sips. We will begin the workshop with a new technique, trace a design, paint with a new mixture, gild with real gold, and wash away the painted, leaving behind your own beautiful Lai Rod Nam

Discover the traditional Lai Rod Nam and the adapted technique that I'm really excited to share while enjoying local sips and snacks.

Start to create the art with a new technique by painting with a new mixture, gilding with real gold, washing away the paint, and leaving behind beautiful real gold patterns.

Why this trip?
Lai Rod Nam has always been my passion. I learned it at the College of Fine Arts in Thailand. It's a Thai ancient lacquer gilding technique, one of the very long processes of making but with the new technique, a quick way to create the art within this workshop. With my guidance and stories, you'll fall in love with Lai Rod Nam just like I have!
